/me gives a dejected 'hip hip horay, happy bday to myself'

well, been eons since i last updated i guess. even though my bday just passed, there's nothing much to talk about. i mean yeah sure its like my 21st bday. but i still dun feel any older, feel like i'm lagging behind a couple of years. *sigh* supposed to have a bbq, but due to budget constraints, it'll look like it'll be cancelled altogether, instead of a postphoning. *sigh*

just had dinner with sherm, ray and a few of my close work frens. ray, theeps and sherm wrote a bday card and gave me the set of starwars magnet posters! its amazing how there's even such a thing! i've them all, posters, toys, etc. but magnets each with each and every poster for the movies made? wow, THAT i have not seen... thanks ray...

applied for leave today, went to go get a new hp, FINALLY. like the last time i ever bought one was like *counts* in 2001 i think? a 5120, even then after i lost that, i used my mum's old ancient siemens hp, and then the first generation colour phone from nokia, a 3530 i think. and now a sony ericsson K500i! one of the latest model from sony ericsson! it has everything, even a big colour screen... *drools* and the polyphonic music is amazing! has a video recorder, and even plays mp3 music! wheee! 12mb of memory baby! WHOOOOO!

and changed my plan to mtv code. everything's the same, almost, cept 100sms more than my old powerchat100 plan, which brings it to a total of 1000sms! plus, i changed my free incoming to night time, and i have free 1mb of gprs usage. all this for $5 than my prev plan.

but the star here is my new hp! its been so long since i bought something new and luxurious for myself... my mum offered to pay for it first. oh oh and she gave me her $100 starhub mobile voucher. but even thought since she paid for it first, and me having to return later, the feeling of getting something for myself... its exquiste. felt like crying. never been so happy for a long time!

well i'm configuring the phone and all. nice to play around with. though its annoying it doesnt seem to have much games to download *frowns*

well not having much luck with girls once again. which kinda sucks, but i guess the phone makes up for all the negativeness i've been feeling for the past few months...
